Speaking from Stillness is a fun series transcribing unscripted thoughts while on morning dog walks in my jungle valley. I walk in stillness, then allow whatever arises to get recorded and transcribed. I try to keep them short. The transcript is lightly edited for clarity.
An interesting metaphor for Seeking is that it moves along a horizontal axis. Axis, not access, like a graph. Moves along a horizontal axis in a linear-progression. It is consumed with time and moving forward. And that is the life of the Seeker.
But at some point, a horizontal line crosses…sorry, a Vertical line crosses the horizontal.
And that is a moment of great, important inflection.
The horizontal is based on linear and acquisition and interaction and worldly things.
The Vertical line stops the Seeking. And it does that by expanding the parameters.
It’s no longer just a line. There’s an expansion from the individual line into the wider-Consciousness, the wider-Awareness, the wider-One-ness.
And the linearity of time is broken as well, because all actions…when the Seeking stops…Happen in The Now.
Horizontal, linear, time-based, Relative Reality-based is what we know.
That is broken by the Vertical Axis of Now, and the expansion beyond the limited-finite, time-based, linear-body, and Expansion into…All There Is.
And the stopping of time, progressing in a linear-fashion, and instead, the Living As Now.
And Now, and Now, in Perpetuity, Now.
It’s an interesting metaphor, not perfect, but…
There’s something interesting there,
In that it’s an abrupt-stop to the linear-Seeking-activity.
It shakes up the snow globe, that’s for sure!
